Lisa's Story

Everyone has their different reasons as to why they decide on getting a tattoo in the first place.

For me, I was in college and my priorities and mind set have changed since then. 

While I had a tasteful tattoo, it was on my foot and was something that I was constantly trying to hide. I had considered getting my tattoo removed for quite a while and finally decided to go in for a consultation. 

From the minute I met my technician, I felt comfortable and reassured that the process was going to be as she promised. I was certainly nervous, but everyone was extremely professional and honest throughout the entire process. 

The removal process did hurt a bit, but it was over so quickly and completely worth it.  I had multiple treatments on a Q-switched laser before transitioning to their newest PicoSure laser.  The remaining stubborn green ink was gone in 1 treatment!

Now that I am tattoo free, I can walk around in confidence and no longer have anything to hide.

Steve and Karen's Story

Steve and I had our tattoos done at a small tattoo place where, in retrospect, the artists weren’t as experienced as they should have been.  Couple that with poor ink quality and after just a couple years the lines were feathered, the ink faded and solid areas were uneven.   We were both unhappy with what they had turned into.

Steve had originally decided to go to the dermatologist because they had advertised laser tattoo removal.  After several bad experiences with them, he stopped going.  We knew we both had to remove what we had, so we decided to go to a place that specialized in tattoo laser removal.

After 6 sessions, my tattoo is gone.  Unfortunately for Steve, he has scarring due to the first laser experience, but most of his ink is all but gone.  At a future point, we both plan to re-tattoo the areas we had lasered.   The removal process is long as you have to wait between sessions to heal, and relatively an easy with some minor discomfort during the lasering, but worth it in that you don’t have to live with a tattoo you regret.

Travis' Story

Since removing my tattoo was so important, I chose a place that focused exclusively on laser tattoo removal.  Unfortunately, I started my removal sessions prior to the existence of the PicoSure technology.  I saw great results from the older technology but the process was slow and I was left with small scars in the areas of dense ink.  The technician told me scars were common with the Q-Switched laser due to the increased amount of power necessary to target the tattoo ink once it became lighter. After 5 sessions with the Q-switched laser I decided to take a break from my treatments because I was afraid I would continue to scar.  I was now caught between a rock and a hard place…I still wanted the tattoo gone but a faded scarred tattoo was not what I considered progress. When my technician reached back out to me and recommended the new PicoSure laser I was a bit skeptical.  It was a little more expensive and I felt like I was starting over with my treatments since it was a new technology.  After reading more about the laser, I decided to give it a shot.  After 1 session with the new machine my tattoo has faded substantially and there are no new scars! As a matter of fact, I barely notice the raised scars that previously stood out thanks to the significant lightening of those dense spots I referred to previously. 

I am now well on my way to being rid of my tattoo and after each treatment a little bit of that weight, a little bit of that embarrassment, and a little bit of that sinking feeling fades away with the ink.
