This Saturday!

Can you believe it? It's already here - yes, this Saturday from 11a to 6p at our Robinson Center location in #Pittsburgh - we're hosting our ii Grand Opening event! Open to the public and equipped with all appropriate measures... our friends from Q.92 will be there, LIVE from 11-12,  broadcasting - there will be food & beverage refreshments, special discounts - free on-site consultations; and! a raffle that supports an amazing cause...

The charity Invisible Ink is supporting this time around is Children's Cancer National Non-Profit Organization... CureSearch.org. They support Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, with all of their research to support those children suffering from cancer. 100% of our proceeds raised, via our Raffle Basket and fish-bowl collections, will be donated to the cause. 

Meet Joey, a little boy whose suffering from cancer and who we're assigning our Grand Opening Event proceeds to... who will also be helping us raise awareness. Joey suffers from a rare form of cancer and is currently going through chemo and radiation therapies. Joey is 11 years old, he loves NASCAR and playing X-box 1 video games.  Joey will be making #yellowbracelets while going through his treatments to help raise awareness for the charity and the cause.

Grand Opening

You're Invited! There's a Grand Opening Party in our sights. On September 20th from 11a to 6p, we'll be opening our doors and inviting the Pittsburgh community to join us in celebration of Invisible Ink's Grand Opening.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Good evening, folks! 

What are we talking about today? Well, a very exciting topic - our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from last weekend in #Pittsburgh! It was a meeting full of Invisible Ink Tattoo Removers. The team consists of so many awesome people. Nationally, we had our CEO, COO, CFO, PicoSure experts and the Director of Operations. 

Jammie Barnes, Pittsburgh's Clinical Manager - Alysse our Assistant Manager & Vernonica our i.i. technician so graciously hosted the party this past Saturday, the 23rd. 

Sticking to appropriate branding fashion, we cut a yellow ribbon =) Check out the picture, above!  That's Frank Baynham, Dick Satterfield and Ryan Collar*. 

Also in attendance, Pittsburgh's resident Doctor - Dr. Lori Cherup, M.D., F.A.C.S., she is a board-certified plastic surgeon and has been in private practice since 1989. She has surgical privileges at six major hospitals and is the president of RADIANCE Plastic Surgery and the Medical Director at RADIANCE, A Private Outpatient Surgery Center, LLC. Dr. Cherup works closely with us to evaluate each and every tattoo removal, and comes in to help out when we need her expert opinion - if and when clients need special attention. We had our resident PR Woman and Social Media Guru (yours, truly!) inside the brand new, state of the art i.i. space. 

There was a custom #InvisibleInk #TattooRemovers cake - complete with our black & yellow logo. As we all enjoyed the food and drinks, we sat down around the table and looked at the visuals for our next i.i. locations. Can you believe it? We're already expanding into two more cities: Minneapolis, MN & Richmond, VA.

Celebrating Tattoos Today

We are Invisible Ink Tattoo Removers, and while we're in business to do the tattoo removing - we can and do appreciate a good tattoo every now and then . It's always interesting to type 'amazing tattoos' into Google search. We find tattoos that look like muscles all over someones back - how intricate that tattoo is (pictured up top)! And how much time it must take...

We've also come across awesome tattoos, at very odd places on a persons body. There was one, we recently promoted on Facebook - this man had a tattoo on his forehead. Yes, you heard us right - his forehead. It was absolutely the coolest thing we've ever seen though! While I think it's safe to say, most of us here at #InvisibleInk wouldn't pick that location for a tat - the tattoo itself was colorful, and looked exactly like the Incredible Hulk. You can tell the artist really knew what they were doing. 

It's neat to see the all the hard work that goes into tattoo art, there are so many talented Tattoo Artists here in Pittsburgh (and beyond) that grind hard, everyday. They're just like us here in Robinson! We don't see the two businesses butting heads - it's more like a ying and yang sort of relationship =)

Happy Wednesday, folks!

It's finally the day in the middle of the week we have been looking forward to. It's almost time to start saying the week is heading downhill and into the weekend. This week, we're going to chat you up about Tattoo Removal Pain Management here at Invisible Ink.

While the brand-new #PicoSureLaser we have in-house is the best on the market - with little pain margins and stellar results - because of the nature of what tattoos are (ink, stained and ingrained deeply into layers of your skin) there is still some pain involved. It's not harsh, we can promise you - it just feels like a few rubber bands snapping across the targetted area.

First, we have medical strength numbing creme, it's a compound complete with benzocaine lidocaine, tetracaine its of pharemecitcal grade and we let sit on your skin for 30 minutes, before the procedure.

Once the numbing creme has worked itself in, we utilize a few different ice pack methods on top. During the last 10-15 minutes of the numbing creme we ice you with a traditional ice pack; and then right before you go in we #flashfreeze you with our exclusive gel ice pack.

Q: What else do we do?
A: Ah, great - thank you for asking! ...during your treatment we have our friend, The Zimmer - it's a cooling machine that blows cold air on the area as you're getting the tattoo removed.

Q: So, what happens post treatment?
A: We ice you, yet again! We also use The Zimmer for a few more minutes. Then, we apply our special post-treatment soothing serum, bandage dressing give you a take-away ice pack, plus an at-home-care Goodie Bag, complete with a smaller bottle of the serum, travel-size sunblock how-to directions on how to care for yourself, at home.

Treatments here at Invisible Ink Tattoo Removers go super quick, they fire at a trillionth of second & before you know it, you're done - in pico-seconds, that's a trillionth of a second, ladies & gentleman!

iPad Friendly

It's a new age, a new day. 2014 not only brings with it newness in technology each day (especially with this new PicoSure Laser!). We are getting comfortable with cell phones being our working devices and tablets - are no exception. 

Since Apple invented the iPad, we've been ultra set on it's use. And it's no different here at Invisible Ink Tattoo removers. We are using the technology - in our everyday. 

After being greeted with a smile, by our Clinical Manager or one of those amazing associates - you are handed your own personal iPad. Serving it's clinical purpose - you are able to input all your intake information... date of birth, reasons why you are here (tattoo removal, of course!), medical issues and much, much more. 

Once all information is inputed the iPad travels back to the procedure rooms, with you. We use the machine to take your clinical pictures - the ones that we will use to show successful before & after photos. Then it's back in your hands, for good. 

While we definitely assure your our brand new PicoSure Laser is a bit more pain-less than all the rest - there's still some involved, pain levels are comparative to what it feels like to actually get a tattoo. So, in order to keep your mind loose, we encourage you to use that iPad! We call it a 'beautiful distraction' - check your work emails, hop onto Facebook (make sure to 'Like' our FB page, as you do!) or play a game of candy crush - it's up to you. 

The goal is to keep you relaxed and in an environment you're used to - and we know those iPads definitely do the trick!

It's beginning to look a lot like #TattooRemoval here in Pittsburgh. Since opening our doors last week, we've experienced a whirlwind of support! From the local Pitt Bloggers featuring us on their sites (Champagne to Crayons and... Dana Vento!) it's been amazing being in this city. 

So, we've opened our doors - what's next? As people begin to hear about us, we're seeing the influx of clients grow, exponentially. Today marked a great day, we had a great consultation and first round of treatment, we're about to share with you... 

We met a gal whose been anxiously awaiting the release of Invisible Ink's Picosure Laser since last year! After interactions with other Tattoo Removal companies - she's been waiting this long for a better experience. And, we're happy to provide that for her.

This woman in particular has a tattoo, a bit bigger than a quarter - with a little bit of color and an outline left. Quoting her a "True" after inputing all of her information into our Ink Analytics Program. This program is pretty cool - we enter in aspects like: size, color, area, raised or dense and skin type. Once everything is calculated, the system gives us an answer of 'true' or 'false'. True means we're are sure to guarantee the tattoos removal in its entirety.

*While we wish 'False' wasn't an option, it does let us know that because of all the factors your specific tattoo possess, we aren't able to guarantee the removal to the fullest.  

But let's get back to our tattoo gal, since she scored 'true' - purchasing a 6-treatment-package was a no-brainer! So, after 6-8 weeks of body healing after her first treatment, we will see our quarter-tattoo once again.

Next week, we're going to fill everyone in on the details of pain care. While our FDA Approved Picosure Laser is said to be less pain, there is still some involved ...and we can't wait to educate you on all the steps we take to ensure it's as pain-less, as possible...
